At St. Joseph's we believe we are:

A community who celebrates our Catholic Traditions, names Jesus Christ and promotes  Gospel values as a framework for participation in society.

A school where respect for self, others and environment is nurtured in partnership with all community members.

A community that strives to educate and challenge the whole child to reach their full potential and become life long learners.

A community that challenges all children by planning and facilitating enriching curriculum experiences.

A community committed to social justice who participates in learning about Aboriginal Australia and actively working for Reconciliation.

St Mary’s is the Catholic school in the town of Cohuna. We have a rich and authentic Catholic Identity where we Glorify God in all things good! Today the Parish of St. Mary's and the Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception still retain a strong link with the School and local community.

St Mary’s is a safe and inclusive school where the gifts, talents and beliefs are all embraced and celebrated.

St. Patrick's School, Pyramid Hill stands on the traditional land of the Jaara People who have inhabited this country for many thousands of years. Our school was founded by a group of dedicated parents and the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1956. These Sister were brave and courageous women that followed in the footsteps of Mary MacKillop, Australia's first canonised Saint. Mary MacKillop dreamed of providing education to isolated and small communities that in many instances did not have the financial ability to provide education for their children. St. Patrick's School followed in this tradition in 1956.
